At the river bend

Love starts off a gentle drop

Tiny spots in drum-like pots

A pitter -patter on windowpanes

Wind picks up, soon it’ll rain

Shut my window tight, I may

Only these flecks of feeling come to stay

And just like lightning before the Crack

It’s swift to strike; we name it “spark”

As a flash flood is never contained

So is amour like pouring rain

Leaving whoever dares drenched to toe

In this depth none decides stop or slow.

Careful! A river has many bends

Love alike leads many to end

Ecstatic younglings now numbered head

One must learn to swim or fend

And you may say, “Stay out, friend”

To this, I’ll laugh, maybe shake my head

None can predict the current but God

Try you may to mute life’s long song

But even the bravest take a fall

It seeps in the cracks that make you man

Till you accept His Grand master plan

That all will bow when His Name is sound

Seekest thou the trumpet now?
